KT Pacer, Warren and Ledwell Feed-Equipment Parts Identification

Feed-transport equipment can remain in service through brand changes, rebuilds and component replacements. A current brand name, a legacy data plate and an installed part may each tell a different part of the unit's history. Preserve all three when requesting parts.

Understand the brand context

KT Pacer is the current feed-transport brand in this scope. Official KT Pacer history documents the alignment of CEI Pacer and the acquired Warren feed-transport line. Warren should therefore be used as a controlled legacy feed-equipment term, not as a separate current brand and not as a shortcut for unrelated Warren manufacturers.

Ledwell remains a separate equipment manufacturer with truck-body, trailer and feed-equipment families. A Ledwell unit should not be normalized into KT Pacer merely because both serve feed transportation.

Photograph the unit data plate

Capture the manufacturer name exactly as shown, model, serial number, build date, capacities and configuration. Photograph the complete trailer or body from both sides and the front and rear. Include axle count, discharge arrangement, conveyor or auger layout, compartments, controls and hydraulic drive components.

Separate trailer or body identity from chassis identity

A feed body mounted on a truck has its own identity in addition to the truck VIN. A trailer has a trailer VIN or serial record separate from the tractor pulling it. Send both when the request could involve the PTO, hydraulics, electrical interface, controls or mounting.

Identify the system and position

State whether the part belongs to the unloading system, auger, conveyor, floor, gate, hatch, gasket, control, hydraulic system, suspension, brake, lighting or structure. Add the installed position and assembly number when available. For hoses, pumps, motors and valves, record port, rotation, mounting, pressure and flow information only when it can be confirmed.

Preserve old and replacement numbers

Record the original number, any superseded or replacement number, the manufacturer marked on the installed component and the source of each cross-reference. Do not merge those fields into one “part number.” If a component was modified during a rebuild, describe the change and provide an invoice or drawing when available.

Use current manufacturer documents carefully

Current catalogs can explain terminology and present equipment families, but they may not describe every legacy configuration. KT Pacer publishes official parts and service information, and Ledwell publishes parts resources. Match any document to the exact model, serial and configuration rather than assuming the newest catalog governs an older unit.

Build the request

  • Data-plate photos and exact plate text.
  • Current and legacy brand names shown on the unit.
  • Model, serial, build date and configuration.
  • Truck VIN or trailer identity, as applicable.
  • System, assembly, part number and installed position.
  • Dimensions, ports, mounting and clear photos.
  • Quantity, equipment location and desired timing.

Send Johnson a feed-equipment service or parts request. Johnson will review the identity and information before confirming scope or availability.
